Gabe A492180 — in foster care : Gabe • 1-yr-old • Male • 30lbs • Saluki or Spaniel mix • In foster care Gabe is a happy, funny puppy who loves all other dogs, cats, and people, including kids. With the right people, Gabe is the perfect dog. With the wrong people, he's been quite a handful (he's been adopted and returned to TLAC 3 times). He's currently in foster care with a TLAC volunteer and is thriving with mental stimulation, structure, and regular exercise. He is incredibly smart and highly food-motivated, which make training fun and easy. He loves learning new tricks and is constantly amazing those around him with his abilities. He's currently in a search and rescue training class with Lee Mannix and he LOVES it! Whoever adopts Gabe will need to continue providing him outlets for his energy and intelligence, in addition to being a benevolent pack leader. In return, they will get a calm, well-behaved, affectionate, and all-around delightful friend. He would likely be a great second-dog for almost any household, since he likes other dogs so much and is good at reading their signals and responding appropriately. He is submissive with the 6 year old female and 5 year old male in his foster home. He will need to be supervised around young children, as he can get overly excited when playing with them.
